This is where everything changed. I decided to put aside my previous career completely and pick-up programming where I had left it. It used to be mainly a hobby for me, but I realized it was something I was truly passionate about and regretted not having chosen it as my career from the start. But it's never too late.
The philosophy of 42 is fascinating, and the way they teach us code is truly the best way to learn it. I have already learned so much so rapidly and efficiently.
I was given the opportunity to complete my third and final year of university abroad. I took it without second thought and was accepted in one of the most prestigious universities in Colombia to learn about International Relations.
I felt like the 3 languages I speak needed to be put to use. I therefore continued in the same career path as in High School and further extended my knowledge in business management, but in several languages this time.
I did not pursue a career in tech right away. I chose to first learn about marketing and management, which I believe were essential for me to stand out in the job market at the time.
